ABOUT DR. SHAMOUN

Dr. Shamoun relocated to Southern California from Dallas, Texas to provide the latest advances in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He brings to his practice a combination of surgical skill, experience, and artistic judgment, which reflects the intense training received from many of the world's premier plastic surgeons.

Dr. Shamoun graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed General Surgery at the University of Alabama. He then completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, one of America's finest plastic surgery training programs.

Dr. Shamoun elected to pursue several post-graduate Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowships. He completed a subspecialty Fellowship in Aesthetic and Restorative Breast Surgery at the world-renowned Breast Reconstructive Foundation Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He also completed subspecialty Fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery of the Face, Eyes, Nose, and Body at the Connell and Robbins Aesthetic Surgery Institutes. He concluded his formal nine years of training, beyond medical school, in Honolulu, Hawaii, specializing in Surgery of the Asian Face.

Dr. Shamoun's paramount goals as a physician are to "be the absolute best physician at all costs, individualize patient care, and the quality of life. " As a result, he takes great pride in being the only plastic surgeon in California triple board certified by The American Board of Surgery, The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
